Having ‘REAL SURFERS TEACHING REAL SURFING’ provides you with the best opportunity to learn the correct technique from your first lesson onwards.

TSA is the only surf school affiliated with Surfing Australia in the Torquay area. All Surfing Australia Surf school lessons are presented by Level 1 Accredited Coaches through a National Coaching Accreditation Scheme which is recognised by the Australian Sports Commission.

TSA is able to provide the Safe Surfing program, designed to take the beginner from the edge of the beach to competition surfing. The 5 certificate program is self paced and rewards participants as they progress, as you achieve more you are recognised for your efforts

Surfing Australia have spent many years developing the Safe Surfing Program and the Surf schools Worldwide network so that you will not only have an enjoyable and fun time while you learn to surf, but more importantly you will learn about the ocean awareness and safety. The emphasis is on having fun, being safe and learning everything you need to know to get the most of your surfing.

TSA cater for all ages and abilities - including private, semi private, school and corporate groups.

Lessons are run everyday at 9am, 11 am, 1 pm and 3pm.

Private (1 on 1): A private lesson is a great way to start with your very own coach.

Semi-Private (2-8 people): ln a small group is a great way to have fun with your friends. Run at a variety of beaches in the Torquay area.

Groups (17 and more people): Run with a bigger group of people to experience surfing with the budget in mind. Whether you have a corporate group or a school group we can cater for you.

COSTS:

Lessons include wetsuits, surfboard and full instruction for two hours. Just bring a towel, your bathers and a big Smile.
