We are an experienced team of local surfers dedicated to providing an authentic surfing experience and sharing our passion for the ocean and the Surf Coast. Every coach at TSA is a knowledgeable waterperson with a deep understanding of surfing and ocean conditions, bringing genuine skills and experience to help those just beginning their surfing journey develop confidence in the water. With permits to operate at some of the Great Ocean Road’s most iconic beaches, TSA takes you to beautiful coastal locations with quality waves, stunning scenery and the perfect setting to enjoy the ocean.

Our Bell Street store is only a few minutes’ walk from Torquay Surf Beach. With hot showers, lockers, changing rooms and plenty of car parking, you’ll be set for a great day of fun in the ocean.

A group session is perfect for surfers just starting out or for groups of friends, families or colleagues wanting to have fun and learn to surf in a relaxed environment. Our lessons focus on teaching the fundamentals of surfing, while helping you develop the skills and confidence to handle both yourself and your surfboard in the ocean.

Private surf lessons are suitable for all experience levels, as our coaches tailor each session to your individual ability and goals. We also offer private stand-up paddleboarding lessons. Whether you’re catching your first wave or looking to refine your technique, there’s always something new to learn.

TSA has the largest range of hire equipment on the Surf Coast. With more than 200 surfboards, we have the perfect board for everyone, from first-time surfers through to experienced riders looking for high-performance equipment. We also offer a great selection of stand up paddleboards, soft and hard, plus ocean and river kayaks and bodyboards. No booking is required, unless you would like to reserve a specific item.
